Sumatra

This coffee is grown in the Gayo highlands of the Aceh province on the island of Sumatra, Indonesia. BENER MERIAH Coffee is a family-owned export company that operates its own mill and collaborates with farmers to access the international coffee markets, ensuring greater earnings.

On average, producers cultivate coffee on 2.5 acres of land using their own micro-mills to depulp and dry coffee. These beans are considered to be amongst the region's finest.

This coffee is a staple in our coffee shops because Sumatra is famously smooth and rich with an earthy and chocolatey flavor. It is ideal as an all-day drinking coffee due to low acidity. This is one of the roasting team's favorite coffees.
