SINGLE ORIGIN - ORGANIC
Brazil is the largest coffee-growing region in the world. In 1999, the Saquarema Agrícola Cerrado Group made a commitment to not only produce certified Organic coffees but to uphold socially and environmentally respectful conditions.
The group created better living conditions for employees and took steps to protect the farm’s natural resources, including better caring for natural springs on the property, reconsidering its energy use, and restoring forest areas with native trees. Conscious of the effects of global warming, they also planted eucalyptus trees to reduce the pressure on native forests. Forest reserves and permanent preservation areas are also separate from cultivation areas. In 2010, Ricardo Aguiar Rezende acquired the farm, with a proposal to continue developing Organic coffee, using advanced technologies, and striving for the highest cup quality.

Brazil is typically a very dry bean so it provides a beautiful crema. The beans are very small and uniform in size and shape and the roasting brings out a very buttery and nutty flavor. You’ll notice almost no bitterness so it is round and full.
