Discover the vibrant coffee-growing region of Oaxaca, Mexico.

Starting in the beach town of Puerto Escondido, the journey climbs through winding mountain roads and villages rich in indigenous culture, eventually arriving at tropical farms nestled in the Sierra Madre del Sur. Here, coffee grows alongside bananas, corn, and fruit trees, with views of the Pacific Ocean below.

These small family farms—many led by women—use organic practices to care for their land and community. Each producer manages their own micro-mill, carefully handling every step from harvest to drying.

To bring their coffee to the world, over 4,000 producers across 134 communities have joined CEPCO, a cooperative that provides vital support—from credit access and certifications to farm renovation and infrastructure. CEPCO’s efforts have helped improve both coffee quality and farmer livelihoods.

This coffee is consistent, flavorful, and deeply rooted in tradition.
